Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier

The world's oldest brewery's flagship wheat beer — the textbook reference for Bavarian Hefeweizen. The classic banana-clove balance is produced by the Weihenstephan proprietary yeast strain producing isoamyl acetate (banana ester) and 4-vinylguaiacol (clove phenol) during fermentation. Hazy golden, with a thick white head. This is the global benchmark for the style — used as the reference in brewing education courses worldwide.
