Miloš Plavac Mali Pelješac DOC

Dingač PDO, Croatia
The more accessible sibling to Grand Cru Dingač — from younger vine parcels on the Pelješac Peninsula. Aged 18 months in French barriques. Still powerful (14%+) but more approachable: blackberry, cherry, dark spice, and the characteristic sea-salt mineral lift. Drinks beautifully at 5–10 years.
complement
Classic Dalmatian pairing — Plavac's mineral depth and dark fruit intensity bridges the charred octopus's sea flavour; the olive-oil-dressed potatoes add a gentle bridge.

complement
The wine's concentrated dark fruit and herbal character harmonises with grilled lamb; the sea-mineral-salt amplifies the wine's coastal mineral note.
