Mount Langi Ghiran Langi Shiraz Grampians GI

Grampians GI, Australia
Australia's benchmark cool-climate Shiraz — from Mount Langi Ghiran's granitic soils at 400m altitude in the Grampians. Transparent purple; extraordinary aromatic complexity of white pepper (rotundone), violet, blackberry, olive tapenade, graphite, and dark spice. Aged 18 months in French barriques (30% new). The antithesis of Barossa Shiraz — restrained, spiced, mineral-driven. Ages magnificently for 20+ years.
complement
Australia's most distinctively native pairing — Grampians cool-climate Shiraz and kangaroo is a terroir-driven combination; the white pepper and violet character bridges the gamey, iron-rich meat.

complement
The wine's white pepper and violet notes align with native pepper berry's aromatic character; the lamb's richness is balanced by Grampians Shiraz's cool-climate freshness.

complement
The wine's olive-dark fruit character and graphite depth matches the liver parfait's richness; quince bridges the wine's fruit complexity to the pâté's sweetness.
