The Foursquare Exceptional Cask Selection (ECS) series is released annually by Richard Seale — each expression represents a specific cask regime aged on the island. The ECS series redefines what single blended rum can achieve: pot and column still spirit blended before maturation in ex-bourbon American oak, then finished in ex-wine or ex-sherry casks. The 14-year 2007 vintage Domaine de Courcelles finished in ex-French wine casks achieved 98/100 from critical consensus. The ECS series consistently achieves the highest scores in international rum competitions — more than any other distillery globally. No added sugar; full production transparency.
