Reserve Mencía from Dominio de Tares' Bembibre single-vineyard selection in the Bierzo DO, sourced from old-vine plots on slate soils in the Sil River valley. The Bembibre shows Bierzo Mencía at its most concentrated and structured — darker fruit, more tannic grip, and deeper mineral complexity than the fresher village expressions — while maintaining the variety's characteristic floral lift and bright acidity. Aged in French oak for 12 months, the wine integrates wood beautifully into a structured, age-worthy expression.
