Dal Forno Romano Amarone della Valpolicella

Dal Forno Amarone is the most powerful Amarone produced — the apex of the appassimento technique. Made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes dried for 90+ days, losing 40-50% of their weight and concentrating sugars to extraordinary levels. The resulting wine has 15-17% alcohol, massive tannin, and 50+ year aging potential. Impenetrable in youth — a 20-year project.
