The meringue cake stands as the central technical form: a crisp outer shell enclosing a soft interior, finished with cream and fruit. Alongside it, a sponge coated in chocolate glaze and desiccated coconut demonstrates that apparent simplicity conceals exacting demands. The golden coconut-oat biscuit, once baked for troops and now a symbol of remembrance, completes the canon.
