Côte de Beaune

Southern Côte d'Or. Home to Burgundy's greatest whites: Corton-Charlemagne, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet. Beaune is the commercial capital. Also produces excellent reds in Pommard and Volnay.

2022 91 Warm but structured. Volnay elegant, Pommard dense. Whites rich and generous across the belt.
2021 85 Good. Frost-reduced crop but elegant, classical character. Whites particularly successful in this cooler year.
2020 92 Excellent. Côte de Beaune whites at luminous best. Meursault-Perrières and Puligny grands crus outstanding.
2019 94 Exceptional. Whites and reds both excellent. Premier crus delivering extraordinary quality-to-price ratio.
2018 92 Very good. Red and white both delivering. Volnay and Pommard Pinot impressive alongside white crus.
2017 94 Exceptional Côte de Beaune whites. Chardonnay across Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne at stunning levels.
